Reading Tutor - MNPS Reading Clinics
Volunteer with the MNPS Reading Clinics! The MNPS Reading Clinics partner community volunteers with students who are struggling in reading. We train our tutors in an easy to use, structured, 30 minute lesson that is proven to boost students' reading levels.
No prior education experience is necessary!
All tutors complete a New Tutor Orientation on our purpose, impact, and the framework of a Reading Clinic lesson. All materials are provided for you. A site coordinator will support and coach you along the way as you tutor your student. We ask that volunteers make a weekly commitment of at least one session per week.
With clinics located across Davidson County, we are currently serving 750+ students with over 600 volunteers.
