Prep Delicious & Nutritious Meals at FiftyForward Fresh
FiftyForward Fresh/Meals on Wheels is looking for a dedicated volunteer to join our kitchen team on Monday – Thursday (or substitute) to help prep and plate meals for our meal delivery program and the program participants served by FiftyForward Adult Day Service (ADS). This is a wonderful opportunity to join a fun and caring team to support the health and wellbeing of older adults in Nashville!
The kitchen volunteer will assist staff in portioning out meals in to-go containers to be delivered by our dedicated and caring volunteer drivers. The kitchen team also plates an 11:30 am lunch and makes snacks for the wonderful group of older individuals served by ADS. Kitchen volunteers work with FiftyForward kitchen staff employee who demonstrates the kitchen procedure and enjoys friendly conversation. Volunteers are provided an apron, a hairnet or bandana to cover your hair (you can wear a hat of your own) and must abide by all current FiftyForward health and safety protocols.
Times: 9:00 to 11:30/12:00 noon (Lunch is served at 11:30 for FiftyForward ADS)
Slots Available: Mondays – Thursday and Substitute Kitchen Assignments as needed

Hands On Nashville (HON) encourages all volunteers follow CDC guidelines by getting vaccinated and wearing a mask indoors, including at service opportunities.
