HON Day Volunteer Leader Training

We need YOU to lead a group of volunteers on Hands On Nashville Day on Saturday, Sept. 22!
Hands On Nashville Day is the community’s largest annual day of service benefiting Metro Nashville Public Schools. As a Hands On Nashville Day Volunteer Leader, you will work directly with an assigned Metro Public School to coordinate and complete projects that enhance learning environments for local students.
This year, projects will include:
  • Painting
  • Landscaping, including planting trees and daffodils
  • Creating paint-by-number-style murals, and more!

As a VL you will:
LEARN project management and leadership skills at a Hands On Nashville training session.
SERVE as the main point of contact between Hands On Nashville and your assigned school project site.
LEAD and motivate volunteers as they complete projects on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Volunteer Leaders will serve approximately 10 hours, and must conduct a site visit at their assigned school site prior to Hands On Nashville Day.
