Meal Prep with The Nashville Food Project at St. Luke's


Did you know that The Nashville Food Project stewards a second commercial kitchen? We'd love to have you join us!
 
Each weekday, staff are supported by volunteers who assist in washing and chopping fruits and vegetables, putting together salads, sandwiches, portioning out hot dishes and other kitchen tasks that help TNFP provide over 5,000 meals weekly to be served alongside the programming of partner non-profits! 
 
On site staff lead each meal prep session and provide gloves, aprons, and all instructions. 
As you will be working in a commercial kitchen setting, we ask that all participants wear closed toed shoes and have any longer hair pulled back throughout their time with us. 
 
Participants will have access to an All Gender restroom during their service time and the kitchen is accessible by ramp for those with mobility limitations. If you need special accommodations to participate, please reach out to elizabeth@thenashvillefoodproject.org prior to your service experience so we can make appropriate arrangements! Stools and cut gloves are available upon request.
