Open Table Website Update

Do you care a lot about the issues of poverty and homelessness? Or would you welcome an opportunity to stretch and share your skills in the areas of web development or project management? Then this project is for you.
GeekCause is seeking a project manager and a WordPress expert to help Open Table Nashville update their website. They want to update both the look and the functionality in order to provide an improved user experience and make the resources they have to offer easier for all to access. Once the updates are in place, they will also need some training to make sure they are following best practices to keep everything up to date and running smoothly. Full project scope and list of deliverables will be available to volunteers who express interest.
Open Table Nashville is a nonprofit, interfaith community that disrupts cycles of poverty, journeys with the marginalized and provides education about issues of homelessness. As with every organization, their website is their face to the world, and they need your help to make sure it stays fresh. Since they also have invaluable information to share about the work that they do and resources that are available, by helping them improve their website, you'll also be helping the community at large.
GeekCause is ready to provide documentation for volunteer hours to count towards professional development units or employer sponsored volunteer programs. We are also happy to offer LinkedIn endorsements and recommendations after succesful project completion.
