Do you enjoy working with technology? Are you interested in helping adults learn how to use a computer or mobile device? We are seeking volunteers to help with Nashville Public Library’s Digital Inclusion Outreach Program. The volunteer(s) will work with a staffer to assist adults with basic digital literacy skills in classes such as Email, Intro to the Internet, Intro to Social Media, Microsoft Office products and NPL online resources for Spanish speakers.
Classes will consist of primarily seniors, with 5-10 students per class. Patience is a must for anyone who is interested in helping.

The Nashville Public Library system consists of 20 branch libraries and a Main Library. Special features include: a collection of more than 1.3 million circulating items for all ages, and access to other libraries' collections through InterLibrary Loan; approximately 600 public-use computers, and Internet access; several special collections, including business, local history, and periodicals indexes; reference assistance available by telephone; on-going classes and programming for all ages; Metropolitan Government Archives; Special Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing; and the Talking Library, a radio reading service for the print disabled.
