Nashville Film Festival
NASHVILLE FILM FESTIVAL
OCTOBER 3-12, 2019
The Nashville Film Festival is one of the oldest, biggest, and best film festivals in the US!
The 2019 Nashville Film Festival runs from Thursday, October 3rd through Saturday, October 12th.
Volunteers play many important roles in this yearly production--duties may include one or more of the following:
- Theater Usher
- Ballot distribution/collection
- Set-up/Tear-down for special events
- Checking credentials for access to certain areas/events
- Light cleaning of theaters and VIP areas
Some requirements we have:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (21+ for VIP areas)
- Try to attend one of the orientation sessions in the week prior to the festival (dates TBD)
- Pants/Khakis/Jeans preferred (no short shorts or short skirts)
- Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes preferred (no sandals or flip-flops)
- Volunteers will wear a NashFilm badge and button, please where a black shirt (w/ no logos).
Most duties have an element of standing, walking or possibly light lifting. We are able to make some accommodations if some people need to sit some/most of the time.
For each shift you work, you will earn a FREE FESTIVAL MOVIE VOUCHER... trade it in for a ticket to any of our movies showing at the Festival!
Shifts are generally 4-hour blocks. You can work one shift, string together 2 or 3 shifts in a day, or work multiple shifts on multiple days. We will utilize as much of your time as you have to offer!
