Farm to Families
Join us in connecting local farmers, community volunteers and those struggling with hunger to create a more food-secure environment. Farm to Families volunteers will support local producers by helping care for a wide variety of crops and other plants. In return, Second Harvest partner farms donate a portion of the bounty to people who need fresh, healthy food.
Projects vary and may include: weeding, mulching, composting, harvesting, or gleaning. Volunteers will receive specific task assignments at the beginning of each shift. Green thumbs not required! We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Once interest has been expressed, you will be contacted with sign-up details within 2-3 business days.
