Opportunity Details
Special Needs Swim Team Practice 2019-2020 (Tuesday/Thursday Evenings)
Volunteers stay on deck and ensure that the swimmers keep moving, know what they are supposed to be doing, that they are having fun, etc. There will always be a head coach at practice leading it, and volunteers will assist the head coach. No swim team or swim coach experience is required!
The mission of Dolphin Aquatics is to provide year-round swim instruction, training, competition, social activities, and travel at no cost to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them life-long opportunities to develop physical fitness, build confidence, develop friendships, and experience the joy and pride of being part of a team.
