Assemble Care Packages for Young Adults Experiencing Homelessness


Join Hands On Nashville AmeriCorps members in celebrating MLK Day 2020 by engaging in service!

Volunteers will assemble care packages for young adults experiencing homelessness in the Nashville area. Volunteers will also write encouraging notes to be included in each care package. All materials will be provided, but community members are encouraged to donate needed items before January 20 by contacting Hands On Nashville or emailing the opportunity coordinator. 

This project will be led by Mary and Ellen, two of Hands On Nashville's AmeriCorps members. AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs. Hands On Nashville AmeriCorps members build capacity for Nashville nonprofits and strengthen the Nashville community. 

About our partner:

Nashville Launch Pad's mission is to create a network of temporary safer sleeping shelters for homeless youth 18-24 years of age, which are open and affirming to LGBTQ youth.
