Hull Jackson Montessori School Tree Planting with the Cumberland River Compact
When: Saturday, February 15th, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Planting will take place at multiple sites in North Nashville, with Hull Jackson as the meeting location and hub. More information will be shared on the morning of the event.
Description of activity: The Cumberland River Compact is planting large 1" caliper trees as part of the Root Nashville Campaign, and we need your help! Volunteers will help plant large trees and should anticipate digging, lifting, and mulching, so please wear appropriate outdoor attire.
What to bring/wear: Bring a reusable water bottle. Closed-toe shoes are required, and boots are recommended. Please dress in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
What we provide: Work gloves, tools, and water will be provided.
*All volunteers are required to sign a waiver before participating. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to participating. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
