Connect with Napier Elementary
Napier Elementary is a school that serves two public housing communities. The school serves 300 students whereby 98% of those students are minority and 90% of those students are economically disadvantaged. Our 2nd-4th grade students have an awesome opportunity to receive a free laptop and two years FREE internet sponsored by MDHA. The MDHA's connect home project is committed to narrowing the digital divide for the students and families in the Napier Place and Tony Sudekum Apartments.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!! The students receiving the computer must complete a 2 day computer workshop. We need volunteers to help assist our students and families work with their brand new computers.
Volunteers DO NOT have to be computer experts; however, assisting them through the startup, passwords sections, and downloading the information that is recommended by the Facilitator are some the reasons we need volunteers.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
