Masks Now TN Distribution Volunteers #VirtualVolunteer

Masks Now TN has an urgent need for Distribution Volunteers to deliver cloth masks to organizations in need of them!

This volunteer role involves driving to pick-up cloth masks from sewists and distributing them within middle Tennessee to healthcare facilities and essential businesses in need. You may also be driving to distribute donated materials to our sewists. Volunteers must provide their own transportation.

Estimated time commitment:

1 hour a day (3-5 hours a week). You will set your own schedule and distance you are able and willing to drive.

We will partner you with our volunteer sewists, but you are ultimately in control of when and where you deliver. This is a very flexible volunteer position.

This position is vital to the mask distribution process because it allows our sewists to stay home and keep sewing while you deliver the masks!

Express interest below and a representative will be in touch with next steps.

About Masks Now TN:

Masks Now TN is a part of the Masks Now Coalition and was founded when hundreds of Americans, acting individually, started to make masks together to raise our country’s viral resistance to the spread of coronavirus. They joined forces to make an umbrella organization to handle the thorny design and logistical questions involved in massively distributed mask production to make sure those in need can get face masks.

Our goal is to give each citizen the ability to take control of their community’s public health by making homemade masks for patients and essential workers in order to conserve the manufactured masks that protect our irreplaceable healthcare workers and doctors.

MasksNow is also in need of donated mask making supplies.
