Retrofit and Modify Homes For Children with Disabilities
Tucker’s House assists families to retrofit their home to meet their specific immediate, intermediate and long term needs that make their home a place that is not only accessible and safe but also provides an environment to where they can achieve their potential.
Volunteer needs vary depending on when a volunteer inquires. Often time Tucker’s House can use skilled volunteers but also nonskilled. Volunteer needs can be but are not limited to:
- Skilled Volunteers- Demo, framing, trim, painting, siding installation, pouring concrete, building ramps and sheetrock.
- Unskilled Volunteers- Assist with demo, cleanup during and after the project. Some unskilled volunteers can possibly paint.
Volunteers can bring Personal Protective Equipment, but Tucker's House keeps PPE on site.
Out mission is to create safer more accessible homes and environments for children and young adults with disabilities.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:18+
