Internships Coordinator #VirtualVolunteer
Job description: Strategize and implement HR efforts for Doing Good re: recruitment and placement of interns. This position is part of the HR Committee.
Time: 1-5 hours/month
Activities:
- "Own" the internships postings and recruitment process for Doing Good. (There are usually 1-3 per semester.) This includes tweaking the job descriptions, coordinating with each leader who'll be working with the interns, communicating with the university representatives, posting them online, and serving on the first point of contact for the potential interns.
- Participate in the monthly HR Committee conference call to share, discuss, strategize, plan, and carry out Doing Good HR activities with the committee.
- Use Google Drive.
These activities are primarily on your own time and virtual, however someone located in the 14-county area is preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
Strategize and implement HR ideas with Doing Good committees, board, and executive director.
Assist in recruiting and retaining Doing Good volunteers.
