Translate Marketing Brochures from English into Arabic #VirtualVolunteer
We are looking for someone who is fluent in Arabic to help with translating some brochures and materials to share about our Family Caregiver Support Program with the wider community. Having the materials available in Arabic will help reach a wider audience and inform potentially eligible adults who are not as fluent in English.
About the Caregiver Program
Caregivers in the home are the backbone of the American long-term care system. About 85 percent of people receiving long-term care receive it from their families and friends. Many caregivers are juggling multiple responsibilities which may include employment, running households, and sometimes parenting younger children. Often caregivers are older adults themselves and have their own health care needs. Each care-giving family has its own unique strength and faces a diversity of challenges. The Caregiver Support Program is a federally funded program to provide support and relief to adults caring for family members who are 60 or older, have early onset dementia or another physical disability, or relative caregivers of young children.
