Adult Education Volunteer

Adult Education Volunteers are needed to assist in teaching various English level classes.
 
This is a weekly commitment of 2 hours a week, for at least 9 weeks. Classes take place from 10:00 - 12:00 AM on Tuesday and Wednesday and 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
 
The ideal Adult Education Volunteer will be reliable, flexible, and feel comfortable connecting with people from diverse backgrounds with varying degrees of English proficiency. They will be enthusiastic and interested in helping our students adjust to life in the United States.
 
Express your interest and schedule, and you will be sent a registration form. Volunteers must pass a background check, review our Teacher Training, and then will be assigned to a class that works with your schedule. In-person classes will take place at STEM Prep Academy, Glencliff High School, Woodmont Hills Church, and  The Donelson Fellowship.
