Facility Maintenance Volunteer-Clarksville, TN
Are you someone who is handy and looking to volunteer your time? The American Red Cross is in need of a facility volunteer in Clarksville, TN. We are looking for a volunteer who can help with the following tasks:
- Assist with event set up and clean up
- Basic maintenance tasks
- Hanging decorations
- Tidy up the office space
- Mow lawns, trim shrubbery, plant flowers, and apply pesticides
- Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and restrooms
- Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
- Monitor the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems, paint when needed
- Shovel snow from sidewalks and sprinkle salt on surface
- Move equipment and furniture when needed
We would like this volunteer to commit to 6 months of service. Our schedule is flexible, volunteering can take place any day Monday - Friday, and any time between 9am – 2:30pm.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
