Help Deep Clean and Organize Turnip Green Creative Reuse
Do you love tidying and organizing? Help the Turnip Green staff deep clean and organize the Creative Reuse Center on our closed day! We receive thousands of pounds of reuse arts, crafts, and DIY materials each week, and are holding monthly organizing days to keep things looking beauitful! You will be assigned a section of the store to work on during the time you are there, and will organize, clean, sort, and find fun ways to display items in your section. It is so satisfying to see a section come to life as you work!
Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes you can move around safely in. Bring a reusable water bottle. There is a restroom on-site. Wearing a mask is required for volunteers and staff while inside.

Hands On Nashville (HON) encourages all volunteers follow CDC guidelines by getting vaccinated and wearing a mask indoors, including at service opportunities.
However, this project is led by our partner organization, and they will determine COVID safety measures at the event. If you have questions, please reach out to the opportunity coordinator listed below.
