Diaper Bank Volunteer
Service Description:
The mission of Nashville Diaper Connection is to ensure that every baby in Nashville has enough diapers to remain clean, dry, and healthy. Our diaper bank provides emergency and supplemental supplies of infant/toddler diapers for our most vulnerable neighbors.
Volunteers are needed to help with the following:
- Counting diapers
- Wrapping diapers
- Packaging wrapped diapers
- Labeling and organizing packages for distribution to our community partners
- Various warehouse opportunities
Covid-19 Disclaimer:
Given the swiftly falling COVID numbers in our community and the high rate of vaccination, we will be moving to a "mask optional" policy beginning Monday, February 28th, 2022. We will continue to have socially distant wrap stations, keep our groups small, ask that our volunteers wash hands or use hand sanitizer, and ask that no one come in who is running a fever or not feeling well. As always, we fully support those who want to wear a mask at any time for any reason. We will keep an eye on the numbers and listen to the medical community to revisit our policy going forward. We care about our volunteers and want to keep you safe and comfortable as you support the families we serve.
