Trail Tuesday at Mill Ridge Park


Volunteer to improve primitive hiking trails at the forthcoming Mill Ridge Park in Antioch, Tennessee. Volunteering will consist of a variety of instructed tasks, including brush clearing, digging and regrading, trash and debris removal, and measuring, marking and signing trails on the natural parkland. Accessing trails may entail moderate hiking.
 
Mill Ridge Park is centrally located in the fast-growing, diverse community of Southeast Davidson County. Friends of Mill Ridge Park enhances and advocates for Mill Ridge Park to strengthen the community in Southeast Davidson County. The trails will provide healthy access to nature and recreation for neighboring families, students, and employees.  
 
Dress for weather and uneven, wet, brushy terrain. Gloves, equipment, and refreshments will be provided onsite.
 
COVID19 screening and protocols will be followed.
