Teach English to Adult Learners with Conexión Américas! (virtual role)
Conexiόn Amѐricas is recruiting volunteer instructors for our spring 2022 term for adult English learners. The Adult Education Program at Conexión Américas has been supporting the language learning needs of the immigrant community in the Nashville area for nearly 2 decades. This affordable program is a key resource for immigrants as they seek to successfully integrate into the local community.
Volunteers will provide 1-hour lessons 2 evenings per week for the duration of a 12-week term (curriculum and syllabus are provided). This rewarding experience allows for volunteers to serve as key cultural ambassadors and friends to newer members in the Nashville area. Teaching experience is highly recommended, but no teaching certification is required to volunteer for this role. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to the full 12-week term.
Our spring term will continue to be online only, and classes will meet through Zoom. This allows for more flexibility to work with your schedule.
