You Have the Power…Know How to Use It, Inc. is a not-for-profit agency whose mission is to educate, advocate and empower individuals and communities who are impacted by violent crime. YHTP was founded in 1993 by former First Lady of Tennessee, Andrea Conte, to advocate for victims and educate the community to prevent violent crime. YHTP is dedicated to raising awareness about crime and justice issues through victim advocacy, community education programs, resource guides, and documentaries. Based in Nashville, it is funded through private donations and grants.
