ReCYCLE for Kids 2016

ReCYCLE Bike Drive continues at the Hands On Nashville Office!

Through ReCYCLE, Hands On Nashville collects gently used bikes, which volunteers refurbish at the Oasis Bike Workshop. ReCYCLE concludes with an annual giveaway that connects bikes, safety training, and more to youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to own a bicycle!

There are three ways you can pedal ReCYCLE forward:

1. You Give: Donate a Bike!

There is still time to donate a bike! Hands On Nashville is collecting new and gently used children's bikes at Hands On Nashville offices located at:

37 Peabody Street, Suite 206
Nashville, TN 37215
M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bike Drive Update: We are currently in most need of bikes with wheels 18 or 26 inches in diameter. Thank you!

2. We Fix: Help Refurbish a Bike

Help inflate tiny tires, replace brakes and learn basic bike maintenance skills with experts from the Oasis Bike Workshop. Sign up for a refurbishment shift.

3. Kids Ride: Volunteer at the Bike Giveaway

Help fit riders with helmets, select a bicycle and lead a safety-themed obstacle course during the July giveaway event! Sign up to volunteer at the Giveaway Event.
