ReCYCLE for Kids 2016

About ReCYCLE for Kids Presented by Jackson
ReCYCLE for Kids
is a volunteer-powered initiative that collects, restores, and connects bicycles with youth in underserved neighborhoods.

Through ReCYCLE, Hands On Nashville collects gently used bikes, which volunteers refurbish at the Oasis Bike Workshop. ReCYCLE concludes with an annual giveaway that connects bikes, safety training, and more to youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to own a bicycle.

This effort encourages the re-use and recycling of materials to support active youth lifestyles and access to community resources. Since 2012, ReCYCLE has engaged 1,600 volunteers to connecting nearly 1,000 youth with bicycles!
