Volunteer Administrators Network

VAN is a network of Nashville’s volunteer managers who meet monthly to share best practices, learn about the most effective strategies for supporting those who serve, and inspire each other to grow professionally and personally. VAN is guided by the VAN Council, a leadership team of peers within the group. VAN members collaborate and exchange resources to enhance their careers and ensure robust nonprofits that engage volunteers in meaningful ways. Established in 1974, VAN successfully transitioned into a program of Hands On Nashville in January 2013.

VAN Leadership Series’ events are open to members only. Membership is based on a January-through-December year and is renewable annually.  All VAN members are required to pay a $50 annual membership fee, regardless of their organization’s HON-Partnership status.  The dues are used to cover programming and food.

Joining or renewing members may pay online here or via a check made out to Hands On Nashville (please include “VAN Membership” in the memo line).
