Volunteer Income Tax Assistant
The United Way of Metropolitan Nashville's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a free tax program operated by volunteers. The VITA program provides tax prep to those earning less than $62,000. Last year $23 million was returned to the community!
When you become a certified VITA volunteer, you play an important role in helping hard-working families claim all of their eligible tax credits. Taxpayers save an average of $200 to file taxes with our program and receive every penny they deserve!
