Powerhouse Award Honoring Virginia Trimble
Virginia Trimble endured the unspeakably tragic murder of her nine-year-old daughter, Marcia, in 1975. It has been more than three decades without resolution to the crime that stunned the city. The year 2008 brought an unexpected breakthrough, thanks to the diligent work of the Metro Police Department detectives and successful prosecution by the Davidson County Office of the District Attorney General. Through the long years of waiting and grieving, through the trial and testimony, Virginia was a model of grace, dignity, faith, and hope.
You Have the Power is seeking volunteers to help us with this memorable event. Below is a description of our volunteer needs.
Greeters will greet the guests as they enter City Winery and direct them to the registration table.
Runners will assist an assigned party with last minute errands or issues.
Registration will register guests as they arrive and collect contact information on other guests in parties that are not complete by the day of the event.
