Community Cat Trapping
Pet Community Center Spay + Neuter Clinic is a nonprofit organization that provides low-cost, high-quality services in an effort to reduce the number of stray and homeless animals that are euthanized in local shelters.
Volunteers are needed to assist with our Trap-Neuter-Return program to humanely control outdoor cat populations by neutering, vaccinating, and ear-tipping stray and feral cats. Volunteers set traps where a colony of cats is reported, then take traps containing cats to our clinic in east Nashville when residents report that a cat is in a trap.
Trapping can occur according to the volunteer's schedule. Projects take approximately 2 to 3 days to trap all cats in a particular area. Volunteers return the cats to their outdoor home when the project is complete.
