Volunteer Reading Tutor
Become a YMCA reading tutor today! Our program serves students in Davidson County who are reading two or more grade levels below their peers. Your commitment to tutor a child once a week, for a semester (minimum 7 meetings), can greatly impact their reading ability. We provide all of the training and materials that you will need. All you need to bring with you is a willing heart and a positive attitude!
All volunteers will need to fill out an application and successfully complete a background check.
