2024 Stuff the Bus - Days of Action
Join us for our 16th annual Stuff the Bus Day of Action school collection drive that supports elementary students in our nine-county service area.
This year, Stuff the Bus will be a two-day event taking place at Nissan Stadium on Monday, July 15th & Tuesday, July 16th. The community will be collecting individual school supplies and will be dropping them off at Nisan Stadium to be packed into backpacks on site.
Day 1 – July 15th: Supply Drop off & Collection Day at Nissan Stadium
Volunteer Shift for Day 1: 9am – 2pm (volunteer check-in will run from 8:30am –9am)
Volunteers will help unload and organize dropped off schools supplies for 15,000 elementary school backpacks and will prep several stations for packing on Day 2.
There will be a 1hr lunch break during Day 1, we will have food trucks on site for purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own lunch, it just cannot be brought inside the concourse.
Water will be provided.
Day 2 – July 16th: Backpack Packing Day at Nissan Stadium
Volunteer Shift for Day 2: 9am – 1pm (volunteer check-in will run from 8:30am – 9am)
Volunteers will help pack 15,000 elementary school backpacks, and box them up for UPS to deliver to all nine counties that we serve.
No lunch options provided on Day 2.
Water will be provided.

If you are volunteering with your work, we ask that you register with your WORK EMAIL ADDRESS so that we can group companies together during the event

If you are no longer able to fulfill your volunteer slot, please remove yourself from the list or email Erin Ward so that we can fill the spot with someone else

After you have signed up to volunteer you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code for check-in, please save this email & have it available for check-in at Nissan Stadium

Minimum age for volunteers WITH adult supervision is 14 yrs, 16 and up can participate without adult supervision.

Must be able to consistently lift or move 25lb – 50lbs (if you have any physical limitations, please email Erin Ward, and we will make the proper accommodations)

Volunteering will be taking place in & outside, please keep in mind that we will be working under extreme heat for the duration of the event

Attire: closed toed shoes are required, shorts and t-shirts are recommended due to weather

There will be onsite parking at the stadium directly outside of where the volunteer event is taking place (carpooling is encouraged)

This event will take place rain or shine so please come prepared

We will have a limited number of Stuff the Bus t-shirts this year that will be available for you all to take with you at the end of each volunteer day
