Opportunity Details

2024 Stuff the Bus - First Day of School Volunteering

We are very excited for the opportunity to be within some of the schools that will benefit from the Stuff the Bus backpacks this year in Davidson County.

On August 6th from 7am –9am we need volunteers to help greet students as they arrive for their first day of school, help check them in, and get them to their classrooms!

  • Once you register we will work on assigning you to a school that has asked for our assistance.
  • If you are volunteering with your work, please use your work email to register so that we can easily group companies together.
  • If you are no longer able to fulfill your volunteer slot, please remove yourself from the list or email Erin Ward so that we can fill the spot with someone else
  • After you have signed up to volunteer you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code for check-in, please save this email & have it available for check-in on August 6th
  • Time frames may vary slightly depending on the location you are assigned to.
  • An email will be sent out in the weeks leading up to the First Day of School with details about your dedicated school location, parking instructions, check in process, ect.
  • Please bring your drivers license with you on August 6th.
