Rise Against Hunger - Buckets Cleaning Bonanza!
We're two guys in Nashville trying to fight hunger one meal packaging event at a time! We have a busy spring schedule and we need your help! With your help, we can speed up the process of cleaning, organizing and setting up our equipment so we can spend more time packaging meals!
Our meals are sent to malnutritioned people, so we are very serious about cleaning everything the best we can. We keep work fun and light by turning on Beyonce (or whatever music you want) dancing and working quickly/efficiently!
This volunteer opportunity involves the following activities:
- Washing equipment (bins, buckets, plastic basket, bowls, smaller bins, etc.)
- Drying equipment
- Preparing equipment for next event
- Cleaning sink
- Stickering meal bags
We provide all of the equipment; all you need to do is show up. Generally the equipment takes 1-2 hours to be cleaned with 1-2 volunteers (and groups of up to 10 people!). We will be there to guide and help you. It's pretty easy work and an easy way to get volunteer hours! We're looking forward to working with you.
