The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards

The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards are Middle Tennessee's largest annual celebration of volunteerism. The event is held in partnership with the family of Mary Catherine Strobel, a community volunteer best remembered and honored for her tireless, joyful commitment to those in need. Winners are recognized at a celebratory breakfast, surrounded by family, friends, and community supporters. Nashville Volunteer Week

In 2022, Hands On Nashville launched its first-ever Nashville Volunteer Week! In an effort to combat dropping volunteerism rates nationwide, HON encouraged every person in Nashville to sign up for a volunteer shift through the end of 2022. The celebration, from Oct. 17-23, resulted in more than 700 volunteer shifts filled, 200 new accounts created, and 6,500 visits to hon.org! We are excited to make this a tradition and expand the even in 2023.
