The HON AmeriCorps Program

The Hands On Nashville AmeriCorps Program engages civic-minded individuals in yearlong terms of public service. AmeriCorps members are part of a cohort that receives skills training, professional development, and networking opportunities through a partnership between HON and participating AmeriCorps Program agencies.

The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards

The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards are Middle Tennessee's largest annual celebration of volunteerism. Nominees, finalists, and recipients are celebrated at a luncheon attended by 600-plus guests. The event is held in partnership with the family of Mary Catherine Strobel, a community volunteer best remembered and honored for her tireless, joyful commitment to those in need. The 2020 Strobel Awards will be held virtually, due to safety concerns.

Hands On Nashville Day

HON Day is Hands On Nashville's signature annual day of service, where thousands of volunteers gather to complete done-in-a-day projects across Nashville. Hands On Nashville Day, originally slated for May 2, 2020, has been postponed due to COVID-19 precautions. We'll share details as more become available.
