Copywriter / Marketing Assistant
We are seeking someone who will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words for letters, advertisements, and marketing materials (such as direct mail literature and brochures). The opportunity may include some internet content, press releases, and flyers but that will be limited.
Your help is needed to:
The Neighborhoods Resource Center equips residents and neighborhood organizations with the tools they need to effectively lead their neighborhoods.
Your help is needed to:
- Write copy for brochures and other forms of advertising
- Help create ASK letters and create fundraising campaign materials
- Determine what makes programs appealing to neighbors
- Develop unique, new concepts to reach donors and potential donors
- Conceive, develop and produce effective fundraising campaigns
- Work with account organization's development director and executive director to determine needs and budget
- Write clear and persuasive copy for brochures, digital median, and other means of communicating with donors and potential donors
- Revise, edit and proofread content as needed or directed
- Monitor and change fundraising campaigns to improve effectiveness
- Check copy for spelling and grammar errors
- Work with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers and production companies to complete campaign
