Volunteer Ambassadors- Nashville VA
The VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System is committed to improving the health of Veterans through a comprehensive and high quality system, which focuses on each patient's special needs. The integrated system provides an environment that fosters healthcare research and encourages learning and growth for veterans, family and staff.
Volunteer Ambassadors are needed to provide excellent customer service to our Veterans and their families as they enter the medical center.
Ambassadors will:
- Push patients in wheelchairs to their medical appointments
- Provide directional assistance
- Answer general information questions
Volunteers must be able to walk long distances. Ideal candidates for this position should be friendly, outgoing and focused on customer service!
