Policy and Development Reviewer

Walk Bike Nashville is the leading advocacy organization for walking and bicycling in Nashville.

Our mission is to help build a more walkable, bike-able, and livable Nashville. As all Nashvillians know, there is a lot of building going on in Nashville right now!

We are looking for help reviewing proposed developments by Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS), Metro Parks and the Metro Housing and Development Agency (MDHA). These agencies are continually renewing and developing places in Nashville, and we want to provide our expertise to help them be as friendly for pedestrians and cyclists as possible.

We are looking for skilled and/or passionate reviewers and writers to help us:

Find out about the projects
Research best practices
Consider them from an active transport point of view
Produce written reports on them in a professional, timely and comprehensive way.

This opportunity would suit anyone with an eye for detail, knowledge of sustainable transport best practice, knowledge of Nashville's transport policies, and the drive and ability to work alone.
