Dismas House Dinner

Dismas House is a transitional home for formerly incarcerated men, and has been a fixture in Nashville's non-profit scene for 40 years. The Dismas House Dinner tradition is integral to the mission of Dismas House, by being an entry point for our residents to start reconciling with society, and for society to reconcile with them.

Volunteers contribute their cooking skills and bring the ingredients for the entire meal. If needed, volunteers have full access to the Dismas House kitchen, for preparing or heating their dish. Volunteers usually arrive around 5:30pm, and dinner time is 6:30pm sharp.

Volunteers should expect as many as 10 people from Dismas House, as well as 3-5 volunteers.

Not sure what to make? The Volunteer Leader for this meal will contact all volunteers to plan a menu and help decide what each volunteer will bring to contribute.

Come out and let's enjoy good food and good company together!
