Tree Planting at Andrew Jackson Elementary School
Join the Nashville Tree Foundation to plant shade and fruit trees at three school locations in the Hermitage area. Each location has a separate registration sign up, and you may report directly to the location where you registered. Please make a note of this when making your plans. Once at the location, you will receive training from a NTF Green Shirt Volunteer on how to plant a tree. Teams of 3-4 people will plant trees.
This registration is to plant 5 trees at Andrew Jackson Elementary School with the Nashville Tree Foundation.
- Physical work involves digging and some heavy lifting.
- Limited tool supply available; bring your own digging tools if you have them.
- Wear comfortable, warm clothing and sturdy shoes.
- Bring water to drink.
- Gloves provided.
Report directly to the rear parking area. Volunteer check-in and all tree planting is in the back of the school.
