Build a Reuse Garden with TGCR
Are you passionate about the environment, education, and the arts? Do you love
working outside and getting your hands a little dirty? Are you a gardener or woodworker looking to help your community?
Help us establish a community garden and outdoor learning space in Wedgewood-Houston!
Activities will include:
- Building and maintenance of garden beds made from reuse materials
- Building and maintenance of pollinator hotels made from reuse materials
- Building and maintenance of a rainwater harvesting system
- Building and maintenance of a compost demonstration site
These projects will require the use of power tools. Feel free to bring your own cordless drill if you have one!
Bring your work gloves, a water bottle, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty - and prepare to spend the day outside!
