Farm Friday at Mill Ridge Park
Join us every Friday for a variety of regularly scheduled and farm-focused volunteer opportunites at Mill Ridge Park in Antioch, TN. Tasks will vary by the season, but will often include instructed outdoor tasks such as:

Planting, mulching, and pruning trees in our community orchard

Preparing/maintaining garden beds and removing common weeds

Invasive species removal along fenceline and in forested sections

Farmhouse repairs, fence work, and other maintenance tasks

Debris and trash removal as necessary
Volunteers should dress for applicable weather conditions. We recommend pants and shoes with adequate tread suitable for outdoor activity on rough, uneven terrain. Snacks, drinks, and any necessary tools/supplies will be provided. Sunscreen and bugspray are available. A portable toilet is accessible on-site.
Mill Ridge Park is a 622+ acre regional park, centrally located in the fast-growing and diverse community of Southeast Davidson County. Friends of Mill Ridge Park enhances and advocates for Mill Ridge Park to strengthen the community in Southeast Davidson County. Friends of Mill Ridge Park hosts and facilitates community driven education, recreation, and conservation focused volunteer opportunities, as well as programmed activities that include seasonal guided hikes, kite fests, pumpkin patch parties, and night sky viewings.
