Foster Program Support
At any given time, our Foster Program supports between 50–80 animals. In the last six months alone, over 600 animals were provided with loving homes and individualized care before finding their forever families.
We would love to have support for our Foster Program a couple of times per week because a lot goes into preparing to send our animals out of the shelter. This would include emptying the Foster Bin, packing Foster Bags, prepping food, and more! If you can come regularly, that would be amazing, but we would still love to have new volunteers come and learn about the shelter and the Foster Program.
Expressing interest will be a way for us to collect emails and reach out at a later time to see when would be best to get started with your schedule.

The Nashville Humane Association (NHA) places more than 4,020 healthy and temperamentally sound animals into loving homes each year! Our aim is to rescue animals from overpopulated communities and shelters, so they can enter our program to receive individualized care and behavioral treatment before finding their forever family.
