Hack for the Community - Designers #Hack22

The HCA Healthcare Foundation, HCA Healthcare, Greater Nashville Technology Council, and Nashville’s technology community are partnering again, with support from Hands On Nashville’s GeekCause, to host Hack for the Community on April 28-29, 2022 at the Nashville Software School. Designers are needed for the following projects:

Organization & Project Description # Needed Specific Skills Needed
Learning Matters, Inc - Assessment Workflow Portal Looking to build a portal where parents navigate through the necessary steps to attain an assessment for their child. Steps include parent forms, teacher forms, uploading any relevant information, payments, and an online scheduler. 1 (full)  
Nashville Food Project - Educational Walking Tour Digitize the “Stories of the Land” educational walking tour for the Community Farm at Mill Ridge, which currently exists in physical storyboard form onsite. The virtual experience will be accessible from the TNFP website and from QR codes on the physical signs at the farm. 1 (full)  
Sexual Assault Center - Safe Bar App SAC trains bars and alcohol-serving venues to become ‘Safe Bars’ - establishments with training/tools to safely intervene in situations of sexual harassment and assault. This app will provide resources and info to the public, as well as for bar staff to access for guidance on intervention protocols. 1 (full)
