Pack and Deliver Food to Afghan Refugees
Nashville has several hundred new Afghan friends in our community. The Branch of Nashville provides weekly food for Afghan families in need as they adjust to life in the United States.
We need help packing and delivering these food boxes around Nashville to our Afghan friends! This volunteer opportunity includes arriving to The Branch at 9:30am, helping pack boxes then deliver food to between 3-6 families (we group them in similar areas so you are not going all around town!).
Many of our families enjoy having a quick conversation with volunteers, and are so grateful when you show up and their doorstep to deliver food. After your deliveries are completed, you will send a quick message to the manager in charge to let them know that you have completed your deliveries and are headed home. The entire routes take approximately 2 hours or less.
