Community Garden Helper
The Store has partnered with the Edgehill Community Gardens and has a dedicated garden plot for us to grow produce to help stock our fresh local produce section. We are looking for volunteers who can help with general garden bed maintenance including but not limited to weeding, tilling, planting, watering, harvesting and other miscellaneous garden tasks as needed. There will be tools for our use at the garden, but gloves are in limited supply so if you have your own gardening gloves we encourage you to bring them. Some days will be hotter than others, so please bring a water to keep hydrated. We also encourage you to wear a hat or sunglasses if it is sunny, as well as SPF to protect you from sunburn. Please keep in mind that we will be working in the dirt, so we recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
This volunteer opportunity will be weather permitting, so be sure to check your email prior to the event for any cancellation notices.
