Community Day at Glen Leven Farm

Serve on Community Days at The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm! Community Days are opportunities for visitors to explore all 64 acres of this unique Nashville landscape for free one Saturday each month. From our Nature Trail to the Education Garden to our miniature donkeys, we have lots to share with community members about conservation, sustainability, and nature!

Volunteers will serve alongside Land Trust for Tennessee staff in a variety of ways to facilitate the event including traffic direction, table set-up, and greeting visitors.

Volunteering during Community Days is a great way to learn about our work and to support The Land Trust for Tennessee’s mission to “conserve the unique character of Tennessee’s natural and historic landscapes and sites for future generations.”

Help facilitate great educational experiences in nature for our Nashville community and sign up for Community Day Volunteering!

What does The Land Trust for Tennessee do?

Founded in 1999 by conservation-minded citizens, we work with communities, landowners, families, governments, and partner organizations and businesses to identify and save important natural and historic places.

We protect land through conservation agreements, donations of land, partnerships and stewardship. We work with landowners to establish best management practices for water quality, forest health and wildlife habitat. Through community conservation, our working farms and forests, scenic and historic landscapes, river corridors and special places can be protected for future generations.

The shared vision of land conservation is the driving spirit and passion behind The Land Trust for Tennessee.
