Habitat Robertson Build Day
Robertson County Habitat for Humanity is in need of 15 - 20 volunteers to help put up exterior siding and interior insulation for our build day on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Anticipated tasks include ladder usage or interior installation of insulation.
No experience or tools required – you will be trained on-site. PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, nail aprons, and gloves) are provided as well as breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Youth volunteers 16+ welcome with parental permission and adult supervision (will not be permitted the use of power tools or climbing ladders per Habitat’s policy).
This is an active build site. Please use caution and wear clothes that are appropriate for heavy lifting including closed toed shoes (boots preferred, tennis shoes okay). We will be lifting siding using tall ladders throughout the day along with the use of saws and power tools. For those installing insulation, please wear layers with long sleeves to avoid getting materials on skin. Safety and mindfulness are number one priority on the build site. Onsite safety training and supervision will be provided by trained Habitat team.
