Robert Churchwell Museum Magnet Elementary
https://schools.mnps.org/robert-churchwell-museum-magnet-elementaryThere’s a lot that’s unique about Robert Churchwell Elementary, starting with the fact that we have a real museum inside our school, which provides our students with countless learning opportunities. Students serve as curators, designers and docents for our rotating collection of artifacts from larger museums and from our Churchwell families who are graciously willing to share their history and talents with us. As a museum school, we also offer Paideia instruction, which gives students the opportunity to learn how to respectfully communicate with each other while developing skills like listening and conceptual understanding. Churchwell students can participate in Encore, the district’s gifted learning program, as well as get blended learning opportunities in every classroom. Churchwell also boasts an extended school day and a variety of after-school clubs and related arts opportunities that include theater and swimming.
