Begin Anew of Middle Tennessee empowers indivduals to overcome the obstacles caused by poverty by providing education, mentoring, and resources. 

Begin Anew operates four locations in the midst of economic and educational needs ( Franklin, Woodbine, Downtown Nashville, and Madison.)  Begin Anew provides free child care, evening and morning classes, and a relational  volunteer driven model creating a nuturing community for our students. 

Begin Anew offers 3 educational tracks for adults age 18 and over. *High School Equivalency offers tutoring and/ or classes in five subjects: Reading, Writing,Mathematics,Science, and Social Studies. * English Language Learning provides three levels of instruction: Level 1 focuses on foundational vocabulary and basic grammer. Level 2 builds on vocabulary and grammer with additional verb tenses,introduces adverbs, and teaches longer sentence stuctures. Level 3 prepares a student for workplace vocabulary by learning phrases, sayings, and concepts while devloping critical thinking skills. * Computer and Job Skills offers Word, Excell, Windows, Outlook, and PowerPoint along with skills such as building a resume, interview techniques and goal setting.
