The Mary Parrish Center for Victims of Domestic & Sexual Violence
http://www.maryparrish.orgThe Mary Parrish Center addresses the needs of victims of domestic violence, both adults and children. Services provided include: assistance with Ex Parte and Order of Protection petitions; creating safety plans; finding shelter; court advocacy; and therapy. In addition, the Mary Parrish Center includes a therapeutic transitional housing program where mothers and their children are served in a holistic manner. Therapy is provided to allow the residents to heal and to enable the adults to lead independent lives free from abuse. The women are helped to create personal goals, including educational and job-related goals, and they are given guidance to meet those goals.
